From 1 July - 16 September 2017

Kynren - the spectacular tale of England that wowed more than 100,000 visitors last year returns to light up Bishop Auckland (just 11 miles from The Kingslodge Inn) once again this summer.

Produced by Eleven Arches, Kynren is a stunning open-air live action night show played out on a whopping eight acre stage with magnificent Auckland Castle as a backdrop.

With an even bigger cast and crew including 1,500 local volunteers, performance horses, sheep, goats, cattle, geese and ducks as well as Norman longboats, steam trains, wagons and carriages, this open-air tribune is a must-see event that promises to be crammed with special effects bringing to life scenes with thrilling visual impact.
